GUSTAV - Cat IV

From an economic level a CAT IV huricane Gustav makes landfall today. Our prayers and hope is for their safety. America must roll up our sleeves and rebuild our social systems to become more adaptive in how we respond to problems our families with children face ... in the comming weeks many families will need your help not hand outs.

Many will need to once again be uprooted to new towns and to redirect their careers. There is plenty of blame for 100 years of bad engineering and bad plant management of our national resources along the Gulf Coast. What is needed most now is real leadership not corrupted by ego and graft. To any of our students and fellow researchers here please help not hinder.

Add your voice to calls to action and participate in master mind group all across this country to redesign and redeploy our National Resources to the most productive eco positive impact to improve the future for families with children to prosper in the 21st Century. You are leader or aspire to be leaders this is the call to be now the best leaders in each and every way to provide solutions your customers and your community needs ... the needs are great. Great needs create greater opportunities.

Be prepared to give and to share with our families with children on the Gulf Coast. Before giving just money ... consider getting to know the organizations and to even consider volunteering time with their operations before giving them money. Know where the funds will go specifically and get written confirmation of how these funds will meet the needs of the community that will receive programs and direct monetary assistance.

Even large Domestic and International Non Government Agencies have in the past failed to get direct economic aid to the intended victimes. Consider going to the community agencies directly where you want your help to benefit. Often local churches and local agencies are the best place to give to instead of organizations with larger overhead and where management is further from the ground zero of the storm damage sites. Think before you decide to give your resources and how that giving will impact the lives in the affected areas. My God Richly bless you and yours as you give and share.
